Unlike conventional male dog belly bands, these full-coverage male dog nappies fit around your dog’s hindquarters and feature an adjustable waistband and tail opening.
Suitable for male dogs experiencing urinary incontinence, these waterproof dog pants are particularly useful for protecting furniture, carpets and bedding at home, or providing extra reassurance when travelling, visiting friends or staying in hotels.
Made from waterproof PUL fabric, manufacturer-tested to a 10,000 mm hydrostatic head rating, and lined with soft 70% bamboo and 30% cotton inner lining, they feature adjustable touch-fastening waistband straps and poppers around the tail section to help accommodate different body shapes.

Choosing your absorbent pad
The belly band outer fabric is waterproof, not absorbent. An appropriate absorbent pad must be used inside to collect urine.
Our waterproof-backed washable Eco Pads are suitable for light urinary incontinence, occasional dribbling and small amounts of urine marking. They attach using the poppers inside the belly band and can be positioned in different directions to suit your dog’s anatomy
You can position a pad:

Sideways: Across the nappy for coverage around the lower tummy.

Lengthways: From head towards tail where coverage is needed further back.

In combination: Use two pads in different positions when additional coverage is required.
Choose your male dog nappy with or without two washable Eco Pads. Additional pads can be purchased separately.
For heavier urine output: consider a suitable disposable human incontinence pad or appropriately sized baby nappy, using the Glenndarcy nappy to help hold it in position.
When choosing your nappy size, consider the type, number and thickness of pads you intend to use. A thicker, higher-absorbency disposable pad may require additional room.
Important: Correct pad absorbency, positioning and fit are essential. Moisture may escape around the edges if the pad becomes saturated, moves out of position or gaps develop as your dog moves or lies down.

Important - washable and disposable pads need to be regularly checked to see if they need washed or changed.
Where can I buy disposable pads?
We recommend supermarket own brand disposable towels/pads/nappies. Here are some examples and prices:
Band size XS to XS LONG - Pantyliners - 45p for 30
Band size Small - Maxi Towels 45p for 10
Band size Medium to Large - Adult Incontinence Pads - £1.29 for 12
Band size XL to XXXL - baby nappies - Size 2 and bigger.
Prices may vary. It may take trial and error to find the pad that best suits your dog’s needs.
Getting the Right Fit
Please measure your dog carefully before ordering, both standing and sitting.
Your dog’s tummy and waist measurements can change when sitting or lying down. Allow sufficient room for comfortable movement, particularly if your dog has a thick or fluffy coat.
Glenndarcy uses its own sizing system, and our products can be smaller than customers expect. Please do not choose a size based solely on breed, weight, photographs or the size your dog normally wears.
Every dog is unique - a medium-sized Labrador, for example, will not fit a size medium Glenndarcy dog belly band.
When choosing your size:
- Measure around your dog’s body where the nappy will sit.
- Take measurements with your dog both standing and sitting.
- Check the body length and tail opening position
- Allow additional room for thick or fluffy coats.
- Consider the thickness of the absorbent pad you intend to use.
- If your dog is at the upper end of a size range, we recommend choosing the next size up.
- Compare all measurements with our size chart rather than relying on the size name alone
The nappy should fit securely without being too tight, while providing sufficient coverage to keep the absorbent pad correctly positioned.
How to Adjust Your Male Dog Nappy
1. Adjust the tail opening and body length
Before putting the nappy on your dog, check the position of the tail opening and use the poppers to make any necessary adjustments. The tail section allows a limited amount of adjustment for your dog’s tail position and overall body length.
Position the nappy loosely to check the fit, then remove it to secure the poppers before putting it back on.
2. Position the nappy
Guide your dog’s tail through the opening and position the nappy around the hindquarters, ensuring the absorbent pad covers the area where protection is needed.
3. Adjust the waistband
Bring the adjustable straps across your dog’s back and secure them using the touch fastening. Adjust the straps until the waistband sits comfortably without being too tight.
4. Check the fit and pad position
Check that your dog can move comfortably and that the absorbent pad remains correctly positioned when standing, sitting and lying down.
Care Instructions
Machine wash at 30°C using non-biological detergent. Do not use fabric softener. Tumble dry on low heat or air dry. Do not iron.
