We love our dogs as they give us unconditional love and support so we help them out as much as we can in their time of need - especially if they become incontinent in old age.
However dog incontinence can be frustrating and exhausting - constant cleaning up and washing - a never ending cycle that can lead to short fuses and unintentionally upsetting your dog.
Our Glenndarcy products are here to help - all our products were originally designed for our own dogs (many of them rescues) - we know what's like - the time and worry involved.
Our products are here to help
Our nappies are made from a waterproof fabric. Overnight is always the most difficult for dogs as by the morning their bladder is full and they can't make it outside in time.
Please consider our flexi-pants - these are adjustable in the waist, tailhole and elasticated body sides for a more tailored fit. Our washable pads are for light incontinence therefore may be suitable during the day however we recommend a disposable pad overnight. They are more adjustable - for example a greyhound has a longer body and smaller waist thererfore 'standard' dog pants are unlikely to fit.
We recommend belly bands first before our male adjustable pants. Our washable pads are for light incontinence therefore may be suitable during the day however we recommend a disposable pad overnight.
If your dog is an unusual shape, you can even consider our flexi-pants - for example the area that needs covered in a greyhound sits further back behind the hind legs therefore a belly band may not provide the coverage required.
We make our dog pants for urine incontinence however we have lots of customers let us know they use our products for No.2 problems - they line our products with disposable pads / baby nappies. The reason we only say urine is because no products will fully contain No. 2 problems due to a dogs tail and a tailhole in the pants (frenchies with no tail wear our no tailhole pants therefore this is different).
You may also wish to consider one of our waterproof blankets incase of any overnight accidents. W
e have found these invaluable over the years - especially with old dogs sitting on a sofa at night with us (the 'regular' blanket would suffice) as they help keep mess off what a dog is sitting on (eg bed, sofa) if they have the blanket in-between..
We hope this helps - all our Glenndarcy products were made originally for our own dogs as we couldn't find products that could help them in their time of need.
